Chris and Reagan Wedding

Chris gave us a call one day in early November. All he had to say was he had some good news to share... I instantly knew that he was going to get married. I had heard he was madly in love with Reagan. I have met her twice now and she was absolutely adorable!! I could not be happier for him. He wanted to know if Camden and Katelyn would be their ring bearer and flower girl. What an honor. On December 27th, Camden pulled his baby sister down the isle in his Radio Flyer wagon. Of coarse, we decorated it up a bit:) Congratulations Reagan and Chris!! I wish you much happiness in your future together!!!
Katelyn with the next Bride-to-Be. Lauren will be getting married this summer!! She is going to be a gorgeous bride!!

Beersman Christmas

Chris and Camden playing Star Wars!! The Jedi wins again!! Thanks Chris!! We were so glad to have you with us this year for the holidays.
Another Dinosaur... Oh my gosh... this one is so real. Camden wants to name him Ryan, after his uncle Ryan. I wanted him to name him Rexy or Mr. T. We compromised with "Rexy Ryan."

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's House

4 Generations of family!!
Camden got so much Dinosaur stuff that we are going to have to build him another room for all his Dino gear!!
I wish my Aunt Cathy and cousin Kristin could have been her to see Katelyn open her presents. She looks absolutely adorable on her bear rug in her new hat!! Thank you so much for everything. I can't wait to get our babies together again!!!!

Did he come????

Around 2:30 in the morning, I had a tap on my shoulder. Camden was worried about Santa making it back to the North Pole. I took him back to bed and told him that Santa was still visiting boys and girls houses, but he would be getting home very soon. He fell fast asleep all cuddled up with Maggie and Brady (his stuffed animals) He slept so sound that we had to wake him up on Christmas morning. He was so excited to see that Santa had visited our house and left lots of surprises for everyone.Of all the things that Santa brought this year, the biggest hit was Camden's Star Wars dress-up clothes. He didn't want to open anything else. He just wanted to be Darth Vader and the Jedi. Here is a cute picture of my little guy dressed up like the "good guy."I still remember the Christmas when I got my first Cabbage Patch Kid. This year happened to be the 25th Anniversary of the Cabbage Patch Kids so they were everywhere!!! I wanted to be the first to buy one for my baby girl. Here are a few pictures of my princess's first Christmas morning!
Camden loved all his stuffed animal dinosaurs. This is his favorite!!!
Camden went to the store with me to pick out Katelyn's gift. He picked a Cinderella carriage and doll set because he said it looked like a princess. I will never forget him giving it to her. He leaned over and gave her a big kiss on the forehead and told her, "Merry Christmas baby girl."

Christmas Eve Traditions

We spend Christmas Eve over at my parents house every year. We never know what will be on the menu, but we are assured every year that it will be an experience. This year, my dad made 7 fish soup for dinner. It was gorgeous!!! It looked like the type of soup you would get at a fancy restaurant. It was pretty good. I loved the scallops, shrimp and cod that were in the soup, but really didn't care for all the shell fish. It was ten times better than the Butternut Squash soup he made 2 years ago. BLAH!!!! I put my order in for French Onion Soup next year. I LOVE Jim's French Onion Soup!!! YUM!!!!! We always stay over there way to late, but I never want to leave. When we get home we have to get ready for SANTA :)
First we sprinkle our reindeer food in the front yard and throw it up on the roof for Santa's reindeer.
Then we have to get out the milk and cookies for Santa. He LOVES our homemade sugar cookies:)
Last, but not least, a night-night story before bed. Camden told his sister a special story this year. SO CUTE!!!!
Christmas traditions run strong in my family!! I hope to keep these traditions going for many years. Hurry Santa!!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma

Happy Birthday Grandma!!!
Camden, Katelyn and I spent the day making grandma special ice cream cone birthday cupcakes today. Camden saw them on the back of the cake box and no other special cake would work. They actually turned out to be really quite good:) Camden and Katelyn got Grandma a frame that said, "What happens at Grandmas, stays at Grandmas." Drayton's gift was the most exciting. He picked out a balloon animal pump and balloons for her. They had a blast making funny looking dogs, swords, and belts. Jim cooked a taco dinner for everyone and we had a great time:)

Christmas with the Jacksons

This year we had Christmas with the Jackson's at our house in Kansas City. We had tickets for the Chiefs game on Sunday, so we spent the weekend together. We had a great time. Mark asked for money for Christmas so he could put it towards a play station 3. With the bonus money he got from work and money he got from his family he had enough saved. He was worse than a kid. He had to run to Walmart that night and buy his new toy. He claims that Consumer reports says it is one of the best quality Blue Ray disc players... I think he is full of it!! He was up playing games until midnight with his family. I guess i know where Mark will be every night after we put the kids to bed... attached to the TV.
The Chiefs game was just unbearable. It was the second coldest game at Arrowhead Stadium ever. It was absolutely miserable!!! I could have been able to handle being cold if the chiefs were going to win, but they blew it:( SO SAD!!!

Great Grandma's Birthday!!

My grandmother just celebrated her birthday :) She is such a fantastic person. I wish she lived closer. Although it's just on the other side of town, I don't get over to see her near enough!! Every time we do go over to her house, Camden is fascinated by the "big mess" in her neighbors backyard. That is the first things he looks for when we pull in the driveway. I will always treasure the time we spend with her!!
Aunt Cathy made it in from Indianapolis to spend the weekend with Grandma. Camden had a great time playing with Amy, Paulette, and Ron. Katelyn tasted her first little bit of ice cream. She loved it :)

Breakfast with Santa at Coco Key...

This year, we had breakfast with Santa at Coco Key and then spent the entire day swimming our little hearts out. Camden, Connor and Drayton were pretty excited to be able to eat breakfast with Santa. Santa even overheard Camden saying he didn't want to eat his bacon and told him that good boys and girls eat their bacon. Next thing I know, Camden had that bacon gone before I could even blink!! It was kinda cute. I guess whatever Santa says goes:)
