More Halloween Traditions

Camden had a hard day at school on Friday, so he lost his leapster for the night. He was very upset, so to make the most of it, we decided to make our yearly Halloween sugar cookies. We mixed up the dough on Friday night. Camden loves to measure out all the ingredients. We cut out the shapes and baked on Saturday and iced them on Sunday while Daddy and Uncle Wes were at the Chiefs game. We had a great time! I love our cooking projects together!!

Here is a picture of Danielle reading a story to Katelyn. She came up to hang out while her dad went to the Chiefs game with Mark. We had a great time!! She came in handy with all the sugar cooking making:) Thanks Danielle.. you can come up anytime girl!!!!

Red Ribbon Week

This week is red ribbon week at school! We have been teaching kids all week to say, "NO" to drugs and alcohol. You should have heard the conversation at my dinner table tonight. Camden is just so literal with EVERYTHING!! He can't really understand why it's OK for his Daddy to drink beer. He was literally scared to death that his Daddy was going to die from drinking a beer. After 20 minutes, I finally convinced him that adults can drink alcohol and not die from it. That's my boy!!!

Give me that fork!!!

Look at my big girl!! I love watching her learn new things every day!
She tries so hard to poke things with her fork. Those little kid forks are so straight, they won't hold anything. She tries so hard, with such concentration. After a few minutes, she just picks it up with her fingers and eats it!! You'll get it one day baby girl! Keep Trying!!!

Halloween Traditions

After not being able to go to the pumpkin patch last weekend because Camden was sick, we finally made it this Sunday. This is a picture of the kids before we left to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. They were so excited!!!!

We started off the day with a trip to Krispy Kreme Donuts. They have special Halloween donuts!!! I never knew Katelyn loved donuts so much ;)

Here we are arriving at Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch in Liberty. Connor and Drayton went with us and the boys had a blast!!!

They had the most beautiful pumpkins and flowers!! This is Katelyn's very first trip to a pumpkin patch!! She loved the pumpkins. It was really cold outside.... brrrrrrr!!!!

We got to feed the animals. Katelyn loves the goats... She kept mooing at them!!! I think we may need to reread those farm books for night-night books!!

Katelyn loved the slides and the pretend horse!! Giddy-up Cowgirl!!!!

Generations of love..... Girls rock!!!!!! I love my Aunt Nonna!!!

The corn maze was so fun.... Daddy kept cheating!!

I will give you one guess what Camden's favorite thing was... a jungle gym:)

"This pumpkin is perfect for my sissy."
Camden picked out the perfect pumpkin for Katelyn since we got a huge pumpkin for Camden to carve at a special pumpkin stand.

Katelyn had her own ideas of a perfect pumpkin!!

Back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Halloween presents!

Then, we made our very own Haunted Candy House!!! YUM, YUM!!!!!

We had a fantstic day!!!!!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for loving us so much!!!!
We sure love you!!!!!
