She's Crawling!!!!!!

Katelyn has been crawling backwards for 3 weeks now. She backs herself into a corner and gets so mad!! Today, she started going forward for the first time!!!

We gave Katelyn her first biter buiscuit yesterday. She LOVED it!! She was just as messy eating it as her brother was 4 years ago :)

What's worse than a sick baby?

TWO sick kids!!! Katelyn woke up and puked in my bed this morning at 6:00. Just the time I finish cleaning that up and get new sheets on my bed my big boy comes strolling in the room saying he feels sick. I honestly thought he was just trying to get some of the attention that Katelyn has had the past few days. Totally normal right... so I had him climb up on the bed to snuggle with me while Katelyn was sleeping. Next thing I know.... BLAAAAA. All over me, the bed and the floor. Mark and I are doomed. I wonder when we will get it!!

I guess it's a blessing in disguise that I have off today. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!!!!! Wish me luck!!!!! Looks like it is going to be a big laundry and movie watching day together :)

My Poor Princess!!

Katelyn has the stomach flu for the first time. She started throwing up on Saturday morning. Mark was leaving at 8:30 with the kids to go down to his parents house. I started panicking. When a baby is sick, they need their mom and Mark was taking her away from me. If she were my first child.. there is absolutely no way I would have let him take her, but I think I have grown a lot as a mother in the past few years. The concert was great and Mark got his chance to have his "daddy's girl."

My poor little princess still can't even keep pedialyte down. We tried a bottle at 6:30 tonight, but up it came at 7:00. YUCK!! I think I will run her by urgent care tomorrow morning. She hasn't kept anything down except for 1 bottle in 36 hours. I can't keep track of her wet diapers either because she has it coming out the other end too!! Even sick, she is still a good baby!! Get better soon princess!!!

Rascal Flattin in KC

Yesterday, I was able to go to the Rascal Flats concert at the Sprint Center. I went with a crazy group of girls including Sheri and her lovely daughter, Danielle. The concert was fantastic!! Of coarse, when it comes to Sheri and Rascal Flatts, it is only the best!!! She travels the country just attend their concerts. This was her 26th concert in 2 years. She is crazy!!! Since it was Sheri and Rascal Flatts, I expected good seats, but HOLY COW... I was sitting in the 12th row isle seat right by the catwalk!!! Here are a few of the 382 pictures I took! It's funny, I think I watched the entire concert through my camera display screen!!!

I had a blast Sheri! Thanks for allowing me to be part of your "girls night." Here is a picture of Sheri and Danielle. Danielle was on cloud nine. For Christmas, she received a ticket to the concert and a meet and greet pass to meet the gang backstage before the show! I have never seen the girl so excited. She was literally grinning from ear to ear!!!! I loved being your Flatts buddy for the night!!!!

While Camden and I played dinosaurs tonight. Mark and Katelyn enjoyed the Gators/Oklahoma championship game on TV. Hi Aunt Marti... I knew you would like my hat : )

Katelyn 7 Months Old

There is no holding this girl back!! She is all over the place. I don't think I will ever get a cute picture ever again. She sits, rolls, and crawls..backwards and then gets made because she backs herself up against a wall. She is at such a fun stage. She got her first tooth on Christmas day which is crazy because Camden got his first tooth on Thanksgiving day. I guess my kiddos like the holidays!!

She is at the stage now when she is trying to take the spoon away from me to feed herself. She is pretty adorable with oatmeal all over her face. She loves to get up on all fours and just rock back and forth. She hasn't really figured out yet how to move forward, but she gets really excited when she gets on her knees. I think she will be crawling by the end of January!!

DINO-MITE!!!!!

Camden is having the time of his life playing with all his new dinosaurs. Poor Katelyn is always the carnivore's prey. The meat eating dinosaurs always attack her. This poor kid is totally going to be a science geek!!

New Years Excitement

So this year, we had nothing to do on New Years. Having two young children kinda takes the excitement out of "ringing in the new year." We, and when I say we, I really mean I..... decided we would paint our house. We actually had a great time together. Katelyn went over to Grandma and Grandpas for the day and we got to painting. Camden had a blast building by taking off the light plate covers for us. He even got to paint his toy wall. Now with new furniture and new paint, I feel like I am in a whole new house:)
