Katelyn's first Pony tail

I picked Katelyn up from Robins today to find her hair in a pony tail. She kept pulling out her pretty bow, so Robin tried her hair in a pony tail. I can't believe it was long enough! She looked so adorable! She is definitely my daughter with that pony tail... quick, easy, and out of my face:) I love having a little girl!!!!

Camden Express

There is a new train in town.... The Camden Express. Camden decided he wanted to play with his sister tonight. Mark gave him the idea to put his sister in one of his toy buckets and push her around the ground. We had no idea that Katelyn would love it so much. She had so much fun with her big brother tonight. He pushed her around and around the living room and kitchen. What fun!!!!!

Spring Snow

Just when you think spring is finally here to stay, a big snow storm is on the horizon. Weather reports are calling for up to 12 inches. Our HUGE snow storm on Saturday turned out to be only a few inches. It snowed all day long. It was the perfect excuse to stay at home and spend time with the family. Mark started a fire and Camden and Katelyn loved playing together. Even though we only got a few inches of the white stuff, it was definitely enough to play in. It was a perfect snow for making snowmen. it was heavy and very wet. Mark and Camden played outside for almost an hour. The snow sure didn't stick around long with 55 degree temperatures the next day. What a fun weekend.

Spring Time

We are so glad it's finally spring. Camden learned at school that it was spring time and insisted that we go outside to play. Since the weather was almost 70 degrees outside, we totally agreed with him. Katelyn loved the grass. She loved being outside. I have a feeling I know where we will be this summer:)

Camden accomplished something he has been working on since last year. He made it all the way across the monkey bars by himself!! way to go Camden:)

Katelyn 9 Months

We had Katelyn's 9 month check-up last week. The doctors said she is just as perfect as she can be.
Weight- 16 lbs. 15 oz. 10-25%
Height- 27 3/4 inches 50-75%
Head Circumference-42.3 10-25%
Her favorite words are: dada, mama, bubu, baba and da. She loves making messes! Funny thing... She loves pulling all Camden's dinosaurs out of the toy bin and throws them on the floor then she goes after another one. She does the same thing with all her books. She is a very fun little girl. She has just started exhibiting quite a temper when you take things away from her... hopefully, it won't be as bad as her big brothers temper:) She loves reading books and chews on everything in sight. She has two teeth on bottom and two on top, but is working on a few more any day now. She is just starting to pull up on things to a stand. The only problem is that once she gets up, she can't get herself back down, so she just stands there and screams. She LOVES her big brother. I don't think anyone can get he to smile as big as her brother. My little princess is growing up way to fast!!!

Happy St. Patricks Day!!

Katelyn is always so happy and content... can you tell she has been sick for 3 days and still has a slight fever. What a good baby!! Katelyn and I both caught a virus and it has been TERRIBLE!!! It is really hard to take care of a baby that is sick when you are sick yourself. This particular virus was bad. I could barely move!!

Spring Break Summary

Last week was our spring break. You would think with having a week off of school I could have found time to blog about our adventures together, but I was having to much fun playing:) To start off our week, we played outside all day on Saturday. Mark had to work late, so we spent the day playing. Our swing set came in handy:) It was Katelyn's very first time to experience the swing set... She was really not quite sure if she enjoyed it or not... I am sure a few more times, she will love it.
Waiting for Daddy to get home. He's not usually gone on Saturdays. We miss him:)
On Tuesay, we had friends come over to our house to play. It is nice to have such great friends.
When our friends went home, we played dinosaur and built forts in our living room the rest of the day.
Katelyn every single night... Wiped out!!!! Her brother really wears her out!
On Friday night, we had more company come over for a taco dinner. The kids had a blast playing together!! I can't wait to see our two new additions in a few weeks to our group!! Amanda and Michelle's little boys are due in the next couple of weeks.
Saturday night was Shawna's Birthday. Happy Birthday Nonna:) We love you!!!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Last night Camden discovered his new favorite book.... Oh say can you say Di-no-saur? All about Dinosaurs. Camden's favorite page is the Catinthehatasaurous. It was a coincidence that he found this Dr. Seuss book during read-across America week:)

March Surprise!!

We woke up to a beautiful white blanket covering the ground on Sunday morning. Camden immediately wanted to get his snow gear on and go outside. I had to convince him to eat breakfast first. He started taking off his clothes while he was eating breakfast to save time. This is not Katelyns official first snow, but it is her first snow when she has been able to bundle up and go outside. She just had this look on her face like, "what is this stuff?" We had a blast:)
